Chairman & Managing Partner

Co-founder, chairman, and managing partner of LCF KULOĞLU and KULOĞLU GES & AKÜ, development, investment, and engineering companies focused on contributing to the energy transition through the development and investment in PV solar power, battery energy storage, and green hydrogen assets.
Cenap has expertise in strategy, energy, and finance, enabling him to identify, develop, and implement innovative and profitable business models with top-tier partners. His track record includes being a first mover and market leader in the Turkish solar energy sector, securing 77.4 MW of PV solar power licenses, and establishing four joint venture companies including with global players such as FORTUM and SunPower.
With over 25 years of experience as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, Merrill Lynch & Company, Price Waterhouse, and Kuloğlu & Partner GmbH, Cenap has shifted his focus to entrepreneurship in solar energy, crafting a vision for a low-carbon future (LCF).
Ranked as the # 1 Project Developer: Winner of 77,4 MW (15 %) in the first licensing round and committed 320 k USD/MW for the A.C. connection less than the next four competitors (incl. AKFEN, FIRST SOLAR). As a result the two joint venture companies (GÜN GÜNEŞ and RA GÜNEŞ) saved 25 mn USD vis a vis the next four competitors!

He oversees operational management and project execution in energy and natural gas distribution sectors. Coordinates infrastructure projects and supervises field operations. Manages Geographic Information System (GIS) and mapping technologies for project planning and execution contributing to hydroelectric power plant construction and management ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
At Belectric Kuloğlu GES ve Akü Teknolojisi A.Ş., he worked as a Survey Engineer in project development, focusing on geospatial data analysis and land surveying for solar projects. (06/2015 – 11/2017)

Erdem TOPAL has over ten years of expertise designing, developing, installing and energy stroge systems. He involved projects in the Netherlands, Turkey, Italy, Uzbekistan and Nicaragua.
He works with D4 Solar Energy to develop software and hardware solutions for controlling solar installations, charging stations, battery energy storage systems, and heat pumps using intelligent algorithms.
He provides engineering and energy management solutions for utility and commercial-scale projects.

He began developing highly efficient photovoltaic systems as early as 2000 and founded Beck Energy which later was named BELECTRIC.
The name Bernhard Beck still stands for innovation, expertise, and experience in photovoltaics and, under his leadership, over 150 patents were registered. With Bernhard Beck’s competence and vision, BELECTRIC has become one of the leading international enterprises in the photovoltaics & energy storage industry and the first company having installed more than 1GWp of solar power worldwide.
Bernhard developed the first P.V. Solar Power Plant stabilizing the voltage level of the grid and the first Energy Storage Unit offering ancillary services to the TNO both in Germany and in the U.K.
BELECTRIC is one of the few providers to offer the entire photovoltaic value creation chain, aside from module production. In 01/2017 BELECTRIC was sold to RWE/INNOGY.

Ben has been an accomplished Partner at Ernst & Young LLP for almost 25 years, leading the U.K. Energy Corporate Finance practice, with global responsibility for Corporate Finance services provided across the power and utility sector.
Ben has advised on many high-profile and pioneering transactions in the power and utility sector, focusing on renewable energy.
Ben is the Chief Editor of EY’s Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index (RECAI), one of the renewable energy industries’ most respected independent publications, and has published several articles on renewable energy and environmental finance.

Investment Leader: Serves as General Partner at Impactful Capital, investing in and deploying large-scale projects that align with sustainable and impactful objectives.
Sustainable Infrastructure Architect: Founded Orbital Farm, focusing on developing large-scale industrial projects from $200M to $2B. He is an expert in systems engineering for life support systems for space and Earth.
